Todd A. Burroughs passed away, surrounded by family, on October 21, 2018, after a hard fought health battle. He was born October 13, 1963 to Byron and Edna "Obie" Burroughs in Cincinnati, OH, Todd was the fifth of seven children. He attended Klein High School, where he joined the swim team. He enjoyed camping and all manner of outside activities with friends and family.

He had the opportunity to travel to 47/50 states while working in the oil industry with TETRA Technologies and later settled down into a position working with Kroger where his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and leadership skills quickly proved him to be an indispensable asset. He led by example and was dedicated to helping his fellow employees succeed.

Todd was a truly caring individual. He would often go without so others did not have to. He could always be counted on to lend a hand when others were in need. Todd had many challenges in life, and worked hard to meet them as best he could. He touched many lives with his ear to ear smile, generous heart, and silly sense of humor. Todd was loved and will be missed; but will live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew him.

Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Edna "Obie" Burroughs. He is survived by his father, Byron Burroughs; his siblings and their spouses: Jon and Tammie Burroughs, Mark and Diana "Annie" Burroughs, Dawn "Dee" Burroughs Radick, Tamara "Tami" and Charlie Gurrola, Scott and Shelby Burroughs, and Jeffrey "Jeff" and Tiffani Burroughs; his children: Stephany Burroughs, Whitney Denison, Christina Dearie, Sophia Burroughs, James Andrew Burroughs, and Liberty "Libby" Burroughs; his granddaughter Quinn Dearie; 12 nieces and nephews; and a large number of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00pm. His ashes will be laid to rest with his mother at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
