Tomasa Christina Martinez was granted her angel wings on Thursday January 11,2018. Tomasa was 62, of Denton, Texas. Tomasa was born on June 9,1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Francisco Lopez and Maria(Dominguez)Gonzales. She married Alberto Martinez in Frederick,Oklahoma in 1986.

Tomasa loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a very proud grandmother. She also loved to go dancing, shopping, and enjoyed eating out with her family and friends. Tomasa will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She was a member at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Tomasa is survived by her husband Alberto Martinez, son, David Gonzales and wife Angelica of Irving, Texas, two daughters, Inga Chavez and husband Christopher of Denton, Texas, Priscilla Huizache and husband David of Denton, Texas, four sisters, Carlotta Rodriguez of Orlando, Florida, Julia Hernandez of Grand Prairie, Texas, Estella Nicholas and husband Melvin of Plainveiw, Texas, Patricia Calhoun and husband Kevin of Hollister, Oklahoma, four brothers, Frank Jr. and Linda Gonzales of Lawton, Oklahoma, Benny and Imelda Gonzales of Wichita, Texas, Eddie Gonzales of Frederick, Oklahoma, Lupe and Susan Gonzales of Wichita, Texas,  twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Francisco and Maria Gonzales, three brothers, Faustino Gonzales, Emilio Gonzales and Arturo Gonzales, four sisters, Lydia Rivas, Antonia Flores, Natividad Ornelas and Florence Ramos.

Rosary and visitation will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at DeBerry Funeral Directors From 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Mass and Christian burial will be at 10:30 A.M.  at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn  Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
