Tommy Merritt Jones, 76, of Justin passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Justin. Tommy was born on May 28, 1939 in Justin, Texas to Nolie and Louretta Jones. He was married to Sherma Gay Ottinger.
There will be a memorial service held on July 19, 2015 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Buster Noah officiating.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gay Jones; daughters, Leanne Akers and Traci Jensa; son-in-laws Larry Akers and Rich Jensa; sister, Rita Nell Brown and husband Jim; brother, Henry B. Jones and wife Theresa; 2 grandchildren, Chase Akers and wife Kelli, and Marcus Brister.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Justin Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of your choice.
