In Loving Memory of Travis Michael Sheffield

April 20, 1979 – October 22, 2025

After a courageous and long battle with cancer, Travis Michael Sheffield peacefully passed away at his home in Denton, Texas, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Born on April 20, 1979, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Robert and Deborah Sheffield, Travis lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to those around him.

Travis had a genuine warmth and a way of making anyone feel like a lifelong friend. Whether he was enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in the morning, watching a Harry Potter marathon, or playing games with his beloved family and friends, his joy for life was evident in everything he did. Above all, Travis cherished his family. He was especially excited to become a Pawpaw for the first time, looking forward to the new chapter with boundless love and anticipation.

Travis is survived by his parents, sister Tara (husband Fidel), brother Brandon (wife Rori), Grandmother Dovie Klein, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His loving wife, Chasity and their children: sons Truman, Michael (and his wife, Yvonne), and daughter Mary Jewell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a cancer charity of your choice, in the spirit of helping others who face the same battle that Travis fought so bravely.
