Obituary
Troy Gene Harris, 81, of Denton, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. He was born on July 4, 1931 in Midlothian, Texas to Robert Leslie Harris and Imogene Harrison Harris. He married Bennie Jo Beck in Gainesville in 1959. She preceded him in death in 1982. He was a home builder for 25 years.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Rick White officiating.
Troy is survived by his caretaker and neighbor, Lyn Caley; step son, Mark Mooney; step daughters, Carolyn McConkey and Janet Murphy; and sister, Robbie Fay Bryant. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Jo; daughter, Kathy Lawhorn; grandson, Rusty Lawhorn; and his parents.
