Tyler Dean Justice, 33, of Highland Village went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Highland Village. He was born on October 27, 1983 in Salt Lake City, UT. to Larry Dean Justice and Rebecca Jane Dimmitt.

There are many stories about Tyler which could be recounted but one of the family favorites is this.  When Tyler was just about four years old we had a backyard garden. In it we had tomatoes, corn and jalapeno peppers. That year our pepper crop was beyond bountiful. In fact we were getting grocery sacks full of the jalapenos.

Even at such an early age Tyler wanted to help out when it came time to pick some more peppers. The issue was he had it in his mind that they were 'pickles '. No matter how many times he was told differently his mind was made up.

Once back in the house with a large plastic bowl full of these 'pickles' Tyler grabbed one of the biggest ones and bit off a third of it.

The surprised look on his face was priceless!

The amount of water he drank to over come the pepper was epic and the lesson he learned never left him.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Larry and Rebecca Justice, sister Alexis Diane Justice.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 5-7 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors with burial to follow at I.O.O.F. in Denton, Texas.
