Vernon Lee Robertson, Jr, 84, of Denton, Texas passed away on December 25, 2023. He was born in Arlington, TX, on January 15,1939, to Vernon Lee and Jewell Robertson, Sr.

Memorial service will be held on January 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm in DeBerry Chapel with a visitation starting at 1 pm.

Vernon grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife Theresa and daughters Veronica and Vanessa moved to Norman, Oklahoma in 1980. Vernon's easy-going and friendly spirit served him well in a career in car sales. He enjoyed square dancing and clog dancing. His other hobbies included bowling, water skiing, being an avid OU football fan, watching action movies and attending classic car shows. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Vernon and Theresa returned to Texas in 2003.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Theresa Robertson of Denton, and his daughters, Lori Chambers and husband John, Lisa Bodin, Veronica Gary and husband Patrick, and Vanessa Tolson and husband, Mike. His grandchildren include Julie, Shelbie, Blake, Lauren, Mila and Gabe and great grandchildren, Arabella and Jude.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Robertson Sr, mother, Jewel Cook, sister, Jean Tueller, brother, Frankie Cambron and Uncle Roy Robertson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
