Victor E. Lauderdale, Jr., 91, of Denton, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. He was born on April 3, 1922 in Ambrose, Texas to Victor E. Lauderdale, Sr. and Opal Meals Lauderdale. He married Juanita Jenkins in Italy, Texas in 1943. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a retired professor from Tarrant County Junior College.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:30 pm at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.

Victor is survived by his wife, Juanita; daughter, JoAnn Merrit and husband Bill; son, Vic Lauderdale; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Cecil Lauderdale; and his parents.
