Virginia Ann Keeland Hartsburg was born on November 5, 1964, and went home to be with our Lord on August 22, 2021. She was survived by her mother Sue Scarborough, step dad Lee Scarborough, brothers Joe Keeland and Chris Keeland, sisters-in-law Frances Keeland and Krista Offutt, 4 nieces, 5 nephews,  12 grand nieces, and 6 grand nephews. Ginger was preceded in death by her father Thomas Keeland, and husband Steve Hartsburg, both whom she loved dearly.

Ginger married her soul mate Steve Hartsburg, on April 9th, 1988. Steve was her rock and foundation. They loved each other unconditionally, and we're seldom apart from each other. She loved Steve with all her heart, and never loved another man.
Ginger was dedicated to furthering her education, and continued growing and learning, throughout her life. She was working on her bachelor's degree, and loved signing for the hearing impaired.

She devoted her life to 'her kids', that she worked with at Bowie Middle School, in Irving, Texas. She loved them so much, she went to work on Friday morning, and was later placed on hospice, that night. She was truly dedicated to helping 'her kids' have a better life.
Ginger had a beautiful smile, and a loving spirit. Her presence lit up a room. She loved her family and friends, and her dog Missy.
Virginia was loved by her family, friends, and the children that she adored. She will be missed dearly.

Services will be held Friday 8/27/2021, at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, at 2pm.
