Virginia "Ginny" Ann Smith passed away in Denton, Texas on Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born in Pittsburg, PA to Herbert and Virginia Williams on March 25, 1947. Virginia served in the United States Army Nurse Corps as a Captain. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also love reading and watching her favorite movies. She was greeted in heaven by her parents, brother David, husband Paul and her son Justin.

A visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 9:00AM to 10:30AM on Friday, April 11, 2025. Virginia will be laid to rest beside to her husband Paul at the DFW National Cemetery at 11:30AM following the visitation.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Marta Howard (Sean), son Christian Smith (Laurie), daughter-in-law Carrie Smith, brother Herb Williams, sister Kathy Barkovich (Buzz), 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
