Virginnia Lee Shockey of Sanger passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Corinth, Texas. She was born March 5, 1949 in Raymondville, Texas to Robert Butler and Faustina Slayton. Virginnia married Willie Nelson Shockey November 16, 1994 in Corinth, Texas. She was a retired waitress and was very involved in youth church programs. Virginnia is preceded in death by her husband Willie and parents Robert and Faustina Butler.
A visitation for Virginnia will be held Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6-8 at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Christ the Great Shepard Church in Sanger. Interment will be at Jackson Cemetery in Krum following the service.
Virginia is survived by her children Wanda Smith Borrero 47 her husband Jesus Borrero 52 Barbara Taylor 44 her husband Conrad Taylor 51 Jimmy Shockey 49 Regina Weir 47 Bryan Nelson Shockey 46 Tammy M, Garcia 44 Shontel L Shockey 40 her sister Tina Girouard 51 and her husband Danny Girouard 54 and their 3 children Dale W. Baker Heather R, Norris Crystal M. Girouard,
