Eugene Kille
May 29, 1941 – May 10, 2018
Wallace (Wally) Eugene Kille was born in Brookfield, Missouri on May 29, 1941 to Harold Eugene Kille and Hazel Maxine Grice. Wally attended Chillicothe public schools through high school, graduating in 1959. During his high school years, Wally was active in Boy Scouts and DeMolay serving as Missouri State Master Counselor, as well as achieving All State Honorable Mention in football.
Wally graduated from Central Missouri State University from 1959-1963. Upon graduation, he was a licensed pastor serving The United Methodist Church in Spickard, Missouri and two smaller churches in the area.
On June 16, 1962, Wally married the love of his life Sue, and together had three children; Todd Eugene, Richard Douglas, and Rebekah Anne. From them, he had five grandchildren.
Wally was employed by United States Steel Corp in the cement division and served in various sales responsibilities before being appointed Assistant Sales Manager in the Metro Chicago area in 1975. The family moved to College Station, Texas in 1980. In 1982, Wally was employed by Texas Cement Company. Five years later, he began a new responsibility with Texas Industries as the Package Cement Sales Manager. In 1999, Wally was employed by Magna Wall as Vice President for the United States and Western Canada. In 2001 he joined his son Doug in the stucco business.
Wally served as a member of Masonic Lodge #129 in Bryan, Texas, The Scottish Rite in Austin, Texas, was a member of Shriner's International in Ft. Worth, Texas. He also served two terms on the Town Council of Cross Roads.
Wally and Sue enjoyed many travels together, cooking for family and sitting quietly together on the back porch with their wonderful Yorkie, Lola.
Wally was survived by his wife Sue of 55 years, sons, Todd Kille, Doug and wife Stephanie Kille, daughter, Rebekah and husband Michael Perrone, his beloved grandchildren, Davis and Brooklyn Perrone, Taylor, Sam and Jaxson Kille.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold E. Kille, mother, Hazel Kille Baldwin, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Life Works Community, 1804 Cornell Lane, Denton, Texas 76201.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at The First United Methodist Church in Denton, Texas at 2:00 P.M.
