Obituary
Walter W. "Butch" Wallace, Jr., 87, of Whitesboro passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Whitesboro.
"Butch" was born on Sept. 25, 1925 in Denton to Walter W. Wallace and Rosella Grisham Wallace. The family soon moved to Krum where he later attended Krum schools.
"Butch" worked in landscaping and gardening for many years at Meador's Nursery, UNT and the Denton State School where he retired in 1986. After retiring, he moved to the Lake Texoma area where he enjoyed his many friends and especially his love of fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Friday night, August 16, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. He will be laid to rest at Jackson Cemetery.
