Wanda Fay Kinney, 84, of Justin passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was born May 2, 1930 in Hamlin, TX to Thomas Eugene and Froney Arthur Embrey Carter. She married Alvin Eugene Kinney on December 24, 1948. He preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. prior to the service at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Hank Demous officiating. A graveside service will be Friday, January 2, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas.

Wanda is survived by her son, Buddy D. Kinney, Sr. and wife Mindy of Justin; daughter-in-law, Carol Kinney of Denton; grandsons, Buddy D. Kinney, Jr. and wife Celina of San Antonio, Daylon Kinney and wife Brandy of Lantana; granddaughters, Tiffany & Tinel Kinney of Denton; great grandchildren, Nathanial Hood of Denton, Brayden Kinney of San Antonio, Tristan and Micah Kinney-Kortlander of Denton, Victoria Kinney of Bedford and Christina Kinney of Fort Worth; brother, Tommy Carter and wife Vickie of Rosevelt, TX; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Alvin E. Kinney, Jr, sisters, Rose Fitzgerald and Billie McDonell.
