Wayne Earl Cox, 88, of Decatur passed away on June 5, 2021. He was born in Krum, Texas on December 22, 1932, to William and Lillian (Davis) Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Cox, sons, David Earl Cox, Russell Dean Cox, stepdaughters, Leslie Duncan, Lisa Henderson, six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents, William Earl Cox and Lillian Martha Cox, sisters, Irene Cox Jones, Eunice Cox Barnett, Mary L. Cox Graham, daughter, Charlotte Ann Cox, and son, Ricky Wayne Cox.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 6-8PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors, Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10AM also at DeBerry Funeral Directors, interment will follow after the service at Jackson Cemetery.
