Wayne Kelly Reneau, age 88, died on October 2, 2013. He was born on February 8, 1925, in Greenville, Texas, to William Wayne and Marguerite Kelly Reneau. He was a life-long member of the Presbyterian faith. Wayne Kelly was a printing pressman and retired from the UNT Printing Department. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a great collector, a faithful follower of his grandchildrens' activities, and a friend to everyone. He married Helen Owens on August 3, 1956, in Greenville, Texas. They were the parents of two sets of twins less than two years apart.
Survivors are his wife of over 57 years, Helen; his son Shane and wife Jamie of Krum, Texas; son Shawn and wife Laurie of Denton, Texas; daughter Karen and husband Jeff of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; son Keith and wife Mary of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He is survived by six grandchildren--Colby Reneau (and girlfriend Jessica Johnson), Camron Reneau, Kaylee Reneau, Jenna Reneau, Savana Kelly Reneau, and Tegan Wayne Reneau. Other survivors are step grand daughters, Britany Waisner and Lindsay Shores and husband Shannon, and their children, Alexis and Gabriel. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Ada Dunn, and two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Owens and wife Betty, and David Owens and wife Linda. Other survivors are many nieces and nephews. Wayne Kelly was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sarah Holley, and a brother, James Reneau.
Visitation will be held at Bill DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton on Friday, October 4, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Graveside rites are planned for 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas, for family and close friends. A memorial service will follow at the Krum First United Methodist Church at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your charity of choice or to the memorial garden fund at Krum First United Methodist Church.
