Wayne Edward Smith Jr. 49 of Jefferson City,  MO. passed away January 4, 2020 at the Barnes Jewish General Hospital in St. Louis MO after a lengthy illness.  He was born in Denton, TX to Wayne Edward Smith Sr. and Sally Ruth Howard Smith.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  for visitation.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery  in Pilot Point, TX.

Wayne is survived by the "Love of his life"  Virginia "Ginger" Yocam, son Wayne "Eddie" Smith III and daughter-in-law Katherine Smith, sister Mishelle Smith and brother-in-law Kevin Norfleet , brother Scotty Smith, 4 grandchildren Abiyah, Uriah, Zion, Minnette Smith.
