In Loving Memory of Wendell Lee Farley
Wendell Lee Farley, of Denton, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026.
Wendell was a kind-hearted, gentle soul whose warmth and compassion touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a gift for making others feel welcome, valued, and cared for. Known for his sweet nature, friendly smile, and generous spirit, Wendell left a lasting impression on family and friends.
A proud student of the University of North Texas, Wendell valued the relationships he built throughout his life. He approached others with understanding and kindness and was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. His quiet strength, caring heart, and genuine love for others will be remembered by all who knew him.
Wendell was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mother Ruby Lee Farley and Father Howard Leon Farley, Brother Charley Farley.
He is lovingly remembered by his nephew, Ty Farley and his wife, Jo Alain; his niece, Kala Meyer and her husband, Mike; his great-nieces, Taylor Farley, and Jordan Guillory and her husband, Quentin Guillory, Faith Meyer Read; Sister-in-Law Cathy Jo Farley; and many cherished members of his extended family, including Sue Harper; Cathy, Paul, Valery, Timber, Vaughn, Quay, Fallon, Calvin, Brade, Tate, Hudson and Hayden;Judy, Misty, Scott, Ashley, Willow, Jolie, and Noah; Lee, Catherine, Clarissa, Cole and David along with many other relatives and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the memories Wendell leaves behind. His legacy of kindness, love, and compassion will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him. He reminded us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference, and his life serves as a beautiful example of grace, generosity, and love.
A memorial service celebrating Wendell’s life will be held on July 11, 2026, at Redfearn Gym, 8030 Highway 377, Pilot Point, Texas 76258 at 1:00p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, share stories, and honor the remarkable life of a man who meant so much to so many.
