Wendy Jones, 67, of Denton, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 9th, 2023. She was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on November 27, 1955 to Richard and Helen (Milne) Ganslen.

Wendy's passion for her work as a government inspector offered her an opportunity to travel the world living in multiple places in the Middle East, such as Dubai and across the Persian Gulf in Quatar. Wendy had a love for aeronautics, and it was a dream come true to work on multibillion dollar projects in exciting places around the world.

Although Wendy lived a life of excitement and wonder, her greatest accomplishment was her family.

Wendy was a fierce mother who would do anything for her daughter Shelby and son Tony. Wendy raised her children to be a great a mother and father to their families. Wendy's heart was full of joy seeing her children raise their families together with love. Wendy's life was complete; she played a vital role ensuring her grandchildren Sydney, Skylar, Jackson, Scarlett, Weston, and Hudson have the life she always hoped her family would have.

Wendy is survived by her daughter Shelby Garrison and husband Sam, her son Tony Jones and wife Gretna, her sister Vickie Pinnick and husband Ben, and her nephews Keith Ganslen and Justin Saunders. Wendy is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Helen Ganslen, and brothers Bruce, Kim and Brian Ganslen.

The visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
