Will Henry Derusha, 72, of Denton, Texas passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 in Denton. He was born on June 8, 1949 in Waltham, Massachusetts to Bill and Florence DeRusha.

Will attended schools in Georgia. He later earned is Ph.D from the University of Georgia. Growing up he enjoyed learning foreign languages. He retired from University of North Texas as an associate professor. Will could be found reading, writing, playing his guitar or with his cats.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Bill DeRusha and brother, Arthur Derusha. Will is survived by his children, Jeremy Dehne, Jessie, Jamie, Joel, Paco and Jorie Derusha.

A private family celebration is planned for a later date in Georgia.
