Willard Tage Godfrey ("Bill") passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Denton, Texas. He was born in St. Joseph, Michigan to George Porter Godfrey and Estella Lynch Godfrey Durkin. Bill enjoyed doing Friday steak date nights with the love of his life, June, Tuesday morning coffee group, monthly family gatherings, Cowboys Fast Draw, Top 10, and road trips, and playing with his little buddy, Buddy.  After a successful career as a salesman/business owner.  Bill is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Porter Godfrey, II ("Bud"); sister, Barbara Jane Godfrey (" Barbie"); two sons, Willard Tage Godfrey, II ("Billy"), James Leonard Godfrey ("Jimmy"), his grandson Willard Tage Godfrey, III ("Tage"), and his beloved dogs, Sir Street Rodder & Buster.

Visitation and rosary will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 21, 2022 with a funeral mass to follow. Bill will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, June Elisabeth Godfrey, son Robert Lynch Godfrey ("Bobby"); daughters, Donna Catherine Godfrey and husband, William B. Brady, Darlene Carol Godfrey ("Darla") and husband, Dennis N. McNeill, Diane Elizabeth Coffey; Grand-children, Kirsten Elisabeth Dirsch, Devron Lynn Coffey, James Timothy Godfrey, Dalton Chad Coffey, Justen Timothy Dirsch, Nathan Blake McNeill, Jacob Amadeus, Godfrey, Matthew Raymond Godfrey, Dylan Taylor Coffey, Danielle Nicole McNeill, Kelly Jean Tilley and fur-baby Buddy.
