William Cameron Blanks, Junior, age 55, passed away in Denton, Texas. Billy was born on May 11, 1962 in Midland, Texas to the late Violette and William Blanks. When Billy was born the life expectancy of someone with Down Syndrome was around 21 years of age. His family is grateful for the extra years we have had with Billy.
Most of Billy's life was spent in Midland, Texas. For over thirty years Billy lived in MARC group homes. He loved working at CEC doing lawn maintenance and shredding. Billy loved the Dallas Cowboys, the Special Olympics and bowling. He always had a smile for everyone.
He spent the last year and a half in Denton, Texas at Village of Valley Creek, a memory care facility where he enjoyed singing and playing bingo. Special thanks to all the caregivers though the years.

Billy is survived by his sisters; Kay Ellis and Christine Lemieux (Patrick), his brother, Maurice Blanks (Sally) and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas.
