William "Pete" Collion Morris Jr., 83 of Sanger passed away on January 31, 2014, in Denton. Pete was born in Cleburne, Texas on September 26, 1930 to William and Loraine Morris. He married Ruby Sartor on March 12, 1949 in Cleburne.

Pete was a member of the Gribble Springs Baptist Church. He worked for Denton Municipal Electric as a Lineman. Pete also served in the U.S. Airforce during peace time.

Visitation will be held from 6:30-8 pm on Monday, February 3, 2014 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. There will be a funeral service held Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors, Burial will follow at 2pm at Bono Cemetery in Bono Community Cleburne, Texas on Highway 67.

Pete is survived by his wife Ruby; daughters, Jan and husband Harold Poore of Sanger, and Joyce Hatch of Cleburne; sons, Jeff and wife Belita Morris of Sanger, Jason and wife Brandy Morris of Sanger; brother, Donald Morris of Burleson; 19 Grandchildren and 31 Great Granchildren. Pete is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Jeanie Mills; sisters, Betty Darby and Josie Ingram; and brothers Leon and Eugene Morris.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association and the Bono Cemetery Association.
