William L. Chapman, 74 of Sanger passed away on January 26, 2017 in Denton, Texas. He was born on February 24, 1942 in Brisbee, Arizona to Jessie and Florence(Bingham) Chapman.

Bill married Ruth Skouby in Waukomis, OK on January 22, 1961. He worked as an Electrical Engineer and Geophysicist for Conoco for 33 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughters Angela Hughes of Collinsville, OK and Sheila Day of Holton, KS; sister, Betty Peevy of Broken Bow, OK and brother, Jesse Chapman of Aztec, NM.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 29th, 2017 at 2:00 in the afternoon.
