Obituary
Mr. William Robert Fairfield ("Bob") of Denton, TX, passed away peacefully at Corinth Rehabilitation Suites in Corinth, TX on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the age of 72.
Bob was born to parents William and Mildred Fairfield on December 16, 1943 in Bath, NY. He and his three sisters grew up in Caledonia, NY and attended York Central School.
In 1965, he married Sally Cone of Pavilion, NY, and the couple had three children. Bob worked at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY until his retirement in 1998. Bob then worked for the LeRoy Central School district as a bus driver for 10 years. Bob and Sally moved to Denton, TX in 2008.
Bob's passions in life were his family, friends and the outdoors.
Bob is survived by his wife Sally; his daughters, Bridgette Fairfield and Stacey Ziminski; his son, Chris (Meg) Fairfield; his sisters, Doris Barefoot and Ella Gunther; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Seth Ziminski; his sister Maxine Moses; and his parents, William and Mildred.
The family is planning a memorial service to be held in New York in June. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Plus at 571 W. Main Street, Suite 240, Lewisville, TX 75057. Online condolences may be left at www.deberryfuneraldirectors.com
