Obituary

William Connie (W.C.) Felts, 76, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on April, 17, 2024.

He was born January 11, 1948 to Lloyd Tracy Felts and Bonnie Marie Harris. He graduated from Denton High School in 1966. He served in the Army from April 1969 to November 1970 in Vietnam. His career was an Auto-body painter for many years, he loved to restore and work on old cars. He played sports in High School, baseball being his favorite, and was given the nickname "Doobie" by his coach, and also played in area leagues for many years. He enjoyed boating and yard work.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jo Ann, son Chad Felts (Arlena), daughter Brooke Rose (Justin), Stepson Chris Brown (Sarah), grandchildren, Victoria, David, Jasmine, Christian, Jordan, Destiny, Dallas, Kennedy, Zoe and Phoebe Felts, Barrett, Reagan and Landry Rose and Walker Brown, brother L.T. Felts (Shirley). His mother-in-law, Ruth Branam, his sister-in-law Judy Crossland (John), several nieces and nephews, three great grandchildren and his four-legged children, Stella, Gracie and Harley.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Michael Brandon Felts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a Vietnam Veterans Charity of your choice or St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research Hospital.

A memorial service for W.C. will be held at Deberry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm.
