William Joseph Griffin passed away in Denton, Texas on Friday, June 3, 2022. He was born in Mountain Grove, MO to Hollis and Mildred Griffin on February 13, 1951.Bill enjoyed many things throughout his years. He had logged countless miles on the road pulling every 18-wheeler trailer imaginable.

He started out working road construction with his father & then moved to Wyoming to begin working in the Uranium mines. Throughout the years he worked various jobs, but an 18-wheeler was always a part of the equation. During his time at home, he loved his family and taught himself how to crochet, decorate cakes, and bake!

As Bill continued his journey he ended up finding the purest love of all..... his grandchildren. If you wanted to make him smile.... put a grand kid in his lap. He was a great bowler, pinochle player, water skier & could fix anything with spare parts.

And last but not least, he loved bloody steak!

He is preceded in death by his parents Hollis and Mildred Griffin, sisters Della Beck, Silvia Edwards, Holly Dodd, Janet Wingate and daughter Iva May Evans.

Visitation will be held at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 9, 2022. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 A.M. Friday June 10th, also at Faith Tabernacle with burial to follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas, Texas.

Bill is survived by his wife Neta Griffin, son Bryan Griffin Sr his wife Anna, daughter Latisha Meyers her husband Ryan, daughter Christina Pulley her husband Albert, son Jody Byerly, daughter Christie Zuniga, 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by his twin sister Kathy Kaufman her husband Jerry, sister Becky Chasteen her husband John and brother Ronald Griffin.
