William "Bill" Hodges, 82, of Denton passed away on November 14, 2023 in Denton. He was born in Leon, Oklahoma to Ben and Ruby Hodges.

He was a truck driver for over 40 years that loved to watch his westerns while drinking coffee and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Tonya Hodges of Denton, daughters, Frances Keeland, and her husband, Joe of Crossroads, Texas, Elwana Hestand and husband Douglas of Whitesboro, Texas, Penny Corn and her husband, Patrick of Oklahoma, Crystal Hodges of Gainesville, Texas, Elanie Hilliard and husband, Monty of Denton, and Rachael Whitley and husband Brian of Dickinson, Texas, sister, Wanda Nation of Denton, brothers, David Hodges and Tommy Hodges, both of Amarillo, Texas, forty grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5-7 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Tx. Internment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
