William "Bill" Jones went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2024 at 75 years old. He was born in Denton, Texas to J.W. and Nellie Jones on August 2, 1948.

Bill was an employee for Peerless Manufacturing as a welder for over 20 years. He was a proud Papa to his 10 grandkids, and 2 great grandkids. As a proud Papa, he was one of his grandkid's biggest fans at their football, baseball, cheer, and softball games, and looked forwarded to family holidays with everyone together. He loved the outdoors and to go deer hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his friendly personality and love for his family.

He is survived by two sisters, Ida Dillion and Josie Jones. His children, Jeff and wife Laura Jones of Callisburg, Texas, Cristie and spouse Joe Robare of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Steven and wife Becky Jones of Aubrey, Texas. Ten grandkids, Samantha Jones, Colby Robare and wife Irelyn Robare, Jacob Jones and wife Nancy Jones, Colten Robare, Cameron Robare, Caitlyn Robare, Hanah Jones, Chase Jones, Breanne Jones, and Bodie Jones. Two great grandkids, Sawyer Jones and Ava Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents J.W. and Nellie Jones.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Monday, May 6, 2024. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am Tuesday, also at DeBerry's with interment to follow at Trinity Cemetery.
