Obituary

William D. LeRow, 76, died unexpectedly August 2, 2020.  He was born October 9, 1943, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Elza and Doris (Jones) LeRow.

Bill graduated from Bonner Springs High School, Class of 1961.  Following high school, he served a short time with the United States Air Force Reserve before being honorably discharged.  After leaving the military, Bill worked 57 years in the electrical contracting business as a Designer, Draftsman, Project Engineer, Chief Engineer, VP of Marketing, Business Development Manager, and finally Senior Project Manager. He worked on amazing projects all over the United States, in addition to projects abroad, to include Saudi Arabia. His projects included commercial offices, warehouses, shopping centers and hotels.  Bill's most exciting projects, however, included the Circuit of the Americas F1 racetrack in Austin, the new Dallas Cowboys football stadium, Baylor University's football stadium, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels in Orlando, and the one that brought him to his favorite state, Reunion Tower.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Maryann, and former spouse, Leslie LeRow.  He is survived by his sons and their spouses, Troy and Paige Spillman of Denton, Wade and Jennifer LeRow of Little Elm, Steve and Belynda Jones of Carrollton; his daughter and her spouse, Wendy and Gill Jones of Anna; and seven beloved grandchildren, Blake, Brooke, Ian, Taylor, Zoe, Ty, and Sage. Bill will also be fondly remembered by his is sister, Cheryl Travis, and his brother and spouse, Danny and Pam LeRow, his former spouse of 20 years, Linda LeRow, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, August 9th, 2020, at DeBerry Funeral home in Denton, Texas. Visitation will be from 2:00pm-3:00pm and the service will begin at 3:00pm. There will be a livestream of his service beginning at 3:00pm and the family encourages those who wish to practice social distancing to celebrate his life while watching virtually from home.
