William Robert McCutcheon, 79 of Denton passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 16, 1932 in Dallas to William Otto McCutcheon and Hazel Juanita Box McCutcheon. He graduated from Irving High School and North Texas State University. He married Mary Ann Haisler on August 15, 1959 in Denton. He served in the Texas National Guard and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a retired high school band director after 22 years at various schools.
Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1801 Malone, Denton from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Bishop Glen Wilde will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Mary McCutcheon of Denton; daughters, Carol Ann Conrad and husband David of Washington state and Brenda M. Nelson and husband Neal of Fort Worth; sister, Gloria McCutcheon of Roswell, NM; brothers-in-law, J.B. Haisler, Jr. and wife Shirley of Sanger and Melvin Haisler and wife Joneen of Denton; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
