IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William David
Shoebotham
February 9, 1972 – May 4, 2021
With great sadness, the family of William "Bill" David Shoebotham announces Bill's passing at the age of 49, after a stubborn battle with cancer. Bill was born in Missouri and died in his home on May 4, 2021.
Bill graduated from Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico class of 1990 and from the University of New Mexico in 1998. He married his longtime friend and love of his life Kimberley, in September 2001.
Bill was an outstanding automotive engineer, an enthusiastic race car fan (mainly Formula 1)and driver, Bill never met a car he couldn't fix. He was an intrepid hiker, an avid reader, a terrible joke teller (mainly puns) with an always inquisitive mind. We enjoyed his infectious smile and good humor from the tops of high mountains to the depths of the Grand Canyon and so many places in between. And through all the adventures and good times nothing was more important to Bill than his wife and children. He loved his family "To the moon and back" and we loved him the same.
Bill will be remembered by his loving wife, Kimberley, his daughter, Madden and his son Henry. Bill is also survived by his brother Thomas Shoebotham and his sister Karen, his mother Patricia as well as his father and step-mother David and Terry Shoebotham.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 19, 2021 at 11 am in the Chapel of Deberry Funeral home at 2025 W. University Drive, Denton, Texas 76201.
We were blessed to share the far to few years that Bill was with us. Go in peace, Bill. We already miss you and will continue to miss you greatly for the rest of our lives.
