William Forguson, Sr., 78, of Denton, TX., formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, died at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at home of natural causes. A native of Golden Pond, KY, he was born on June 14, 1934, the son of the late Loye T. and Stella Palmer Forguson.

He was formerly a member of the United States Navy and had worked for automotive/farm equipment supply companies in the Hopkinsville area.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; a daughter, Kimberly Forguson of Denton ; and two sons, William, Jr. of Denton and Brent Forguson of Hopkinsville, KY.; a sister, Marie Wyatt of Hopkinsville; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Hannah Forguson of Hopkinsville. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Glyn Forguson, Jean Lively, Kathryn Shelton, and Kathleen Franklin.

There will be no public visitation. Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. DeBerry Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
