William (Bill) Wilson entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Bill was born in Purdy, Missouri on April 30, 1942. Moving to Monett, Missouri, he attended Monett High School where he met his sweetheart and was later married to Ruby (Klingsporn) Wilson in the Trinity Lutheran Church at Freistatt, Missouri. Bill attended and was baptized at the Monett Baptist Church.

After high school, Bill joined the Air Force where he continued his service until retiring in December 30, 1980. In 1979, during the last military assignment and moving to Moore, Oklahoma he joined and was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Bill moved to Texas in 1985 where he worked for Rockwell then relocated to Lockheed Martin where he was employed for 24 years, retiring in February 2010. While working for Lockheed he joined Messiah Lutheran Church in March of 1994.  After retiring from Lockheed he moved to Robson Ranch Retirement Community where he enjoyed family, friends and travel.

Bill is survived by his wife Ruby of 57 years, two children, daughter, Debra Laffoon and husband Randy, son, Jim Wilson and wife Shari, four grandchildren, Trevor Laffoon, Trenton Laffoon, Sarah Wilson,  Allen Wilson and wife Tracy, great grandchildren, Darren, Kylan, Adrian, and Makayla Wilson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rolie Wilson, mother, Eva (Sanders) Wilson, and sister, Velma Caruthers.
