William Eugene Wyatt was born June 6, 1961 in Gainesville, Texas to W.C and Helen Wyatt. After graduating from Gainesville High School in 1979, he went on to graduate from Cooke County College in 1981 and attended University of Arlington. After college, he resided in Denton for the past 30 years. Gene started Wyatt Cable Services in the late 80's, growing with the industry; he became a successful satellite contractor.

He enjoyed many things in life including fishing/hunting, sports, music, and vacationing. Gene cherished the company of friends and was often known as the life of the party. He was an avid dart player helping his team win championships. His greater passion in life was being a father to his three children and spoiling his grandson.

Gene was welcomed into Heaven on June 14, 2014.

He is survived by children Destani L. Erwin, William Nathaniel Wyatt, Bryan A. Wyatt; Grandson, Connor Erwin; Brother, Ronald Wyatt and wife Debbie of Gainesville, TX; Sisters, Linda Vaughn and husband Dickey of Abilene, TX, Nancy Murray and husband Bill of Greer, SC; Pets, Clifford and Casper.

He was preceded in death by his parents W.C and Helen Wyatt; Brothers, Darral Wyatt and Linden Ray Wyatt; Sister, Elaine Smith.

Us kids, are our fathers garden, us kids are his legacy. He will always be with us.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at Cross Timbers Community Church Denton campus on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10am. Precession will follow at Fairview Cemetery of Gainesville with Ron Wyatt, Kevin Smith, Alan Lundy, Daryl Coolen, Kevin Brown, and Danny Wiggin serving as pallbearers.
