Went to be with the Lord Saturday June the 9th 2012. Born July 7th 1933 in Obion County TN to Samuel and Lois Goodman.

Preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Lois Goodman, wives Alice Marie Goodman and Vivian Karen Goodman, Son John Walter Goodman, great grandson Connor Cox, and brothers Willard and Frank Goodman.

Survived by: Siblings Robert Goodman, Bettye Beckel, Joann Carr, and Bonnie Seymour. Children Son Billy Goodman and wife Pam of Bryant, AR. Daughter Dana Clickner and husband John of Corinth, Tx. Son Dale Roberts and wife Krista of Clevland, MS. Daughter Lynette Shackelford and husband Charles of Malvern, AR. Son Steven Roberts and wife Jenni of Conway, AR. Daughter Sheila and husband Eddy of Spring Hill, TN. 15 Grand Children Sam Goodman, Jennifer Goodman, Teah Goodman, Blake Clickner and wife Kristin, Cassidy Clickner, Brett Clickner, Cara Goodman, Joey Goodman, Maggie Roberts, Dustin Roberts, Mandy May and husband Travis, Melissa Harper and husband Adam, Wendy Dawson, Kate Roberts, and Mary Roberts.
11 Great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

He was raised in Tennesse, served and a Sgt in the U.S. Army stationed in Colorado and Germany. After his time in the service he and his family moved to Magnolia, AR in 1961 where he was employed at Firestone, also working part time as a roofer, and was a roughneck at several oil and gas companies in and around Magnolia. After the death of his wife Alice in 1977 he later married Vivian in 1978 and continued to reside in Magnolia until after his retirement. Then he moved to Denton, Tx and was living in Corinth, Tx at the time of his passing.

He was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church in Lake Dallas, TX. There will be a viewing at Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia, AR Tuesday June 12th from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be at Lewis Funeral Home on Wednesday June 13th at 11am. Burial at Wares Chapel in Emerson, AR.
