Obituary
Willie Lawrence Peace, 78, of Denton, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014. He was born on June 7, 1936 in Denton to Willie Edgar Peace and Frankie Price Peace. He married Ruth Brotherton on October 10, 1955. He was a member of St. Andrew Church of God in Christ, and retired from General Motors after 42 years of service.
Willie is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughters, Fran Peace, Marva Minter (David), son, David Peace (Regina), 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Paul Peace, daughter, Pamela Peace; sister, Edna Sue Peace Miles; brother, John Henry Peace; and parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 7-8:30 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Andrew Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
