Wilma Joyce Light, 66, of Denton, Texas passed away on Monday May 1, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 24, 1950 in Sunnyvale, CA. to Buel and Marie Louise (Cartwright) Jackson. Joyce married the love of her life Clyde Light in Sanger, Texas on May 25, 1989.

Joyce was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Denton, TX. She loved the outdoors, camping with her family, traveling, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and her pets. She spent countless hours helping children and their families working as a pediatric nurse. Her career as a nurse meant the world to her. She met her husband and many friends during her nursing career.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 27 years, Clyde Light; son, Brian Reynolds and his wife Kasi of Aubrey and three grandchildren, Kiel, Jackson and Eric.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ed Jackson and James Jackson.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff from Faith Presbyterian Hospice for the caring and comfort they provided Joyce during her last days.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Highland Baptist Church in Denton, Texas. Graveside Service will be in Mountain View, Oklahoma on Saturday May 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.
