Obituary
Wilma Downs Miller, 77, of Denton, died Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Denton Presbyterian Hospital.
Mrs. Miller was born on February 20, 1935 in Oklahoma to Velvia (Scott) and Otto Downs. She was married to Rev. Grover M. Miller on November 23, 1957. He preceded her in death on August 15, 2004. She was retired from TWU.
She is survived by her son Carl Miller and his wife Ann of Sanger; sisters Louise Beaubien of Sherman and Marie Maddox of Platter, OK; a brother, J.W. Downs and his wife Mary of Ft. Worth; two grandchildren, Cara Miller of Plano and Cameron Miller of The Colony; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 29, 2012 10:00am-11:00 am at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas.
