Wilma Joyce Walker, 84, of Greenwood, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday April 24, 2025, she was surrounded by her family. Wilma was born on July 31, 1940, in Denton Texas to Howard and Emma McLeod.

Wilma married Roland Walker on December 31, 1960. They spent 65 loving years together. Wilma and Roland had two sons Glen and Joe Walker.

Wilma grew up in Denton, TX and graduated from Denton High School. After high school she became a hairstylist for 7 years and work at Peterbilt from where she retired as an accountant. She was a faithful member of the Greenwood First Baptist Church in Greenwood, TX.

She had an amazing special bond with her grandsons, teaching them life lessons, helping keep the Greenwood community clean, going to VBS and helping where help was needed. She has left many beautiful memories for them to cherish.

During her spare time Wilma loved to be outside with her husband Roland doing gardening and yard work. She also loved to spend time with her horses.

Wilma is proceeded in death by her parents Howard Ray & Elmma Lois McLeod, and her brother Donald McLeod.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Roland Walker of Greenwood, Texas, Son Glen Walker of Bowie, Texas, Son Joe Walker and wife Michelle of Greenwood, Texas and her grandchildren Ryder Walker & Racer Walker.

Visitation will Monday April 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm, service will start at 2:00pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton Texas.
