Wilmer Walter (Dick) Klein, 87, of Denton, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013. He was born on September 14, 1926 in Sanger, Texas to George Klein and Flora Freida Trietsch Klein. He married Eunice Adams on July 17, 1965. He was on the Board of Directors of Bolivar Water Supply from 1973-1984 serving as president from 1976-1984 and was a member of the Blue Mound United Methodist Church. He was employed by the City of Denton Power Plant prior to his retirement.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Blue Mound United Methodist Church north of Denton with Rev. Carroll Caddell officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Mound Cemetery. Pallbearers will include, Don Edwards, Ray Edwards, Roy Edwards, Billy Wright, Aaron Klein, and Lee Sumpter.

Dick is survived by his wife, Eunice; sons, Steve Klein and Keith Klein; step daughters, Gale Harris and Shelly Mills; step son, Richard Skipworth; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Flora Klein; 3 brothers, Ed, Erwin, and Lawrence Klein; and 3 sisters, Ann Jagoda, Bertie Schultz, and Esther Evans.
