Windle Downey passed away at his home in Krum, Texas on Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born in Pernell, OK to Audie and Betty Downey on April 7, 1933. Windle enjoyed spending time with his family and in his home workshop. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Aneta Faye Hart, brothers Milburn, Alton, Erman, and Dell Wayne.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 5:30 to 7:30.

Windle is survived by his wife Marye of 53 years, sons Hank Kautz and wife Cari, David Bolte and partner Allie Green, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Windle served in the  US Army.
