Woodrow C. Ehlers, 70, Gainesville passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Gainesville. He was born June 27, 1944 in Sherman to Woodrow Chester Ruffin and Ruth Inez Rogers Ruffin. He had retired as a nurse.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2 – 4 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Graveside service will be Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.

He is survived by sisters, Barbara Jeanette Clibbens and husband James, Debra Tilley and husband, John, Bobbie Ann Gilreath, Carolyn Joyce Hamilton and husband, Ricky, Vickie May Reynolds and husband Steve; brothers, Jerry Dwayne Ruffin and wife, Sheryl Sue, Mark Alan Ruffin, Kelvin Lynn Ruffin and wife, Mary Luz, various nieces, nephews and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Billy Leonard Ruffin, grandparents, Emma May Finney and William Henry Ruffin, Minnie Lena Smallwood and Gilbert Leonard Rogers, nephews, Jerry Dwayne Ruffin, Jr. and Jeremy Tilley.
