Woodrow Michael "Mike" Turner I was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He left this world suddenly on July 17, 2024, in Justin. He was born to Freda and H.L. Turner on December 20, 1962, in Rockford, IL.

After finishing school in Pocahontas, Arkansas, Mike moved to Justin where he met his wife, Stacey. Together they loved and raised 5 children, Michael, Andy, Kallie, Casey and Braidan.

Mike served his community by volunteering with the Justin Community Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years. Mike worked at the Justin Seed Company for over 40 years, where he became Vice President. He was also a dedicated farmer and spent many hours working land in and around Justin. Mike had a passion for helping people, and those that knew him best agree that he was highly respected among his peers. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Mike is survived by his wife, Stacey Lynn Turner; children, Michael Turner, Andy Turner, Casey Turner, Braidan Turner and Kallie Simpson-Kelsey; brothers Herb Turner, Stanley Turner and Steve Turner; sisters Brenda Ralph, Linda "Susie" Knight, Paula Turner and Virginia "Ginny French"; grandchildren Blaine Turner, Bryce Turner and Rhiannon Kelsey. Many close, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will be at the First Baptist Church of Justin on Tuesday night, July 23, 2024, from 6-8:00 pm for visitation. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning, July 24, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jamie McClain officiating. A burial will follow at the Justin Cemetery.
