Yvonne Laverne Prichard, 88, passed away at her home in Ponder, Texas, surrounded by loved ones. She was born January 12, 1934 in Nimrod, Texas to Reginald and Edna Compton. She married Dewitt Prichard on September 15, 1953. Yvonne and Dewitt were lifelong companions, married 59 years. They were blessed with 3 daughters Devonne, Sharry and Kimberly.

Yvonne loved to travel, enjoyed hosting an annual Easter party, Mexican food and spending time with her family.

Yvonne is survived by her daughters: Devonne Gilbreath, Sharry Gilstrap and Kimberly Burger. Three grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 22, 2022 and will be interred at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family would like to extend an offer to join them for lunch and fellowship at Denton County Cowboy Church in Ponder, Texas immediately following the funeral service at DeBerry Funeral Home.
