Zeta Faye Carter, 83, of Denton passed away on March 31, 2018 in Denton. She was born on September 1, 1934 in Denton to George and Millie (Baumann) McBride.

She worked at Moore Business Farms, Denton County National Bank, and the Denton Post Office. Zeta would say her main profession in life was to spread The Lord's Word to everyone she knew. Her faith was very strong. Zeta believed and shared with everyone she knew that we live in the best country and the best city, Denton, Texas.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Carter and his wife Heidi of Denton and four grandchildren Heath, Briana, Peyton, and Wyatt.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father and brothers, Larry and Weldon McBride.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. for visitation, funeral services will start at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
