Obituary

Zoila Victoria Salas, 94, of Denton passed away on February 21, 2022 at her home. She was born in Peru on June 27, 1927 to Buenaventura and Maria (Garcia) Talledo.

Zoila was a housewife and the two most important things in her life were faith and family. She was a devout Catholic and she loved her husband and family very much. She enjoyed family gatherings, listening to music, and watching La Rosa de Guadalupe on TV.

She is survived by her daughters, Carmen Aberasturi and her husband Edgardo of Lindsey, Tx., Hortencia Salas of Denton, sons, Oscar Salas and his wife Peggy of Little Elm, Tx., Cesar Salas of Denton, and Roberto Salas and his wife, Sheila of Stillwater, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Salas, her siblings and mother and father.

A Rosary will be said on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church at 1:30 PM. Interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
