Alec Joseph Medley passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27 on Monday, January 9, 2023. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 6, 1995, to Keith and Joy Medley.

After Alec graduated from Guyer High School in 2014 he entered the United States Navy where he served until 2019. His military time took him to Northern California where he met the love of his life Kaitlyn. They wed in Texas in June of 2018, and soon welcomed their son Kai (2019). After leaving the military, they relocated back to Texas and Alec began working at Hillwood Airways as a flight technician.

Alec enjoyed doing anything outdoors and being with his family. Alec was a giving, caring, and selfless soul and loved by all who met him.  He was the most loyal person and would do absolutely anything for anyone. To know Alec is to have laughed with or to have shared a kind word, whether a close friend or stranger. Being humbly social was a special gift upon which Alec was bestowed; those around him were drawn to his infectious and ebullient personality. Alec was a wonderful brother. Selflessness and generosity were two traits that highlighted his personality. Alec touched the lives of so many people in such a short amount of time; he was able to accomplish much before his untimely passing.

Alec was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Patricia Medley and his aunt, Rebecca Jill Whitman.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife; Kaitlyn Medley, and son, Kai Medley,  parents; Keith and Joy Medley and siblings; Briauna Aristondo(Joe), Seth Medley(GraceAnne - fiancé), Jack Medley and Kaytlin Whitman.  He is also survived by his grandparents; Frank Whitman, Diane English and Ron Medley, Sr., along with his nephews Carter, Declan and Miles Aristondo, Henry Mowan and niece Grace Millican, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home from 1PM to 3PM on Sunday, January 15, 2023. A funeral Mass will be held Monday at 1PM at St. Mark Catholic Church: 6500 Crawford Rd. Argyle, TX 76226
