Anne Marie Karnes passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 in Denton, Texas. She was born in San Angelo, Texas to William "Sam" and Euda "Babe" Karnes on October 17, 1933. Anne enjoyed reading, going to the movies and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Anne is preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Weldon Boggus, Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at First Denton Baptist Church from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM preceding the funeral. Interment will follow immediately after at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

Anne is survived by her Children: daughter, Rebecca Beckmann; son, Michael Beckmann and daughter-in-law, Linda Beckmann; daughter, Peggy Efird and son-in-law, Steve Efird; son, Samuel Prater; Grandchildren: Erron, Amanda, Rachel, Wil, Ryan, Anne, Carra, Ashlea, Stephanie, Caitlin and Caleb; Great Grandchildren: Alexis, Trevor, Maya, Hope, Richard, Zach, Alana; Great-great Grandchildren: Kaysen, Alexander and Leighton.
