Barbara Jo Jackson, 69, of Lake Dallas passed away on January 7, 2019, in Denton. She was born on October 17, 1949 in Geneva, Ohio to Donald and Norma (Purnell) Brenyas.

Barbara married Johnnie Jackson in Farmers Branch, Texas on (date). She was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church in Lake Dallas and a retired apartment manager. Barbara loved to ride her horses with her grandchildren and the Denton Round Up Club.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Johnnie Jackson, daughter, Carrie Jackson of Lake Dallas, sons; Shawn Jackson and Troy Jackson of Lake Dallas, sisters, Sharon Anthony, Cindy Foster, Silva Davis, brothers, Joseph Brenyas, Don Brenyas and eight grandchildren, Emanuel Merritt, Tyler Jackson, Riley Jackson, Erica Jackson, Rebel Jackson, Jordan Brown, Jerel Brown and Logan Jackson

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Donald and Norma Brenyas.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas, Texas, with Rev. Homer Walker officiating.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Jackson, Wayne Stanton, Bo Thompson, Riley Jackson, Rebel Jackson, Emanuel Merritt, Jordan Brown and Jerel Brown.
